a benefit concert for the Panzi Hospital in Democratic Republic of Congo.

On Wednesday September 16 at Toronto’s Lula Lounge, the ‘HOPE FOR HEALING’ concert will bring together acclaimed performing artists from diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds in support of The Stephen Lewis Foundation’s work with the Panzi Hospital in Bukavu, DRCongo.

The Panzi Hospital is a not-for-profit institution located in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo, a country with one of the world's highest rates of sexual violence against women. The hospital treats more than 3,500 female survivors of all ages per year offering a range of treatments from reconstructive surgery to counseling. All performances, publicity and promotions for this concert are donated and all proceeds directed through the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The ‘Hope For Healing’ goal is to raise $5000.
